Kotimaa is a world premiere that toured across Finland in the summer of 2017.
Kotimaa is a performance about the end of childhood, the disintegration of a family, and a child being forced to grow up too soon. It is a story of the shame a child feels when their parents cannot afford to buy them football shoes. It portrays the childhood of our generation in the 1990s during the economic recession, performed by three actors and written by seven children.
