Joel Härkönen is a Finnish theatre director and performance designer. He graduated from the Theatre Academy of the University of the Arts Helsinki as a theatre director in 2021. Apart from traditional theatre, Härkönen is intrigued by performance art and new performing formats. Since November 2023, Härkönen works as a residential theatre director at the Kajaani City Theatre with a two year-long attachment.
